At All Metals Fabricating, we’ve been known for our sheet metal fabrication for decades, but we’re a trusted partner in other areas of manufacturing, as well. Our precision machining, for example, is one of our greatest strengths.
That’s thanks in part to our excellent team and our department leaders, Sam Gebata and Isaac McMillen. Their combined experience and commitment to quality have taken our machining department to a new level. Learn how our advanced equipment and top-notch staff enable us to produce complex, tight-tolerance parts for a wide range of industries.
The success of our machining starts with leadership. Sam and Isaac have helped the department become what it is today, rivaling any dedicated machine shop in its capabilities.
Sam has been machining since 1996, working in everything from saw operation and horizontal machining to advanced tooling. Over nearly 30 years, he’s seen and solved almost any problem a shop can face. Since joining All Metals, Sam has helped implement effective process improvements and best practices he’s learned throughout his career, like a tooling organization system that has reduced setup time and kept jobs moving quickly.
Isaac arrived at our company after earning his degree in advanced manufacturing while working simultaneously as a CNC machinist. His training educated him in the cutting-edge of the industry, while his hands-on experience has given him the practical foundation he needs to solve complex challenges. That balanced background has helped him bring new ideas into our processes to improve our efficiency and deliver the best results for our customers.
We’ve offered machining for many years, but over the past decade, we’ve made the investments necessary to turn it into a core strength. We’ve embraced automation and improved processes to maximize our technology. For customers, that has led to faster production and lower costs, without ever sacrificing any precision. We can machine parts with tolerances as low as ±0.0003”.
Today, our department includes six CNC mills and three CNC lathes. We can handle both small and large parts, and typical materials include traditional metals like aluminum, stainless steel, and copper, as well as numerous plastics. Some of our key machines include:
Of course, we’re never satisfied at All Metals, and we’re always striving to become better through continued investment in innovative technology.
We have a 10-year goal to integrate automated manufacturing as widely as possible across all of our manufacturing capabilities, and we’ve begun that process in the machining department. Automation will lead to significant cost savings for our customers, while also allowing our employees to multitask and maximize their time.
Technology can never replace our excellent team; instead, we know we’ll be at our best when we free our team to apply their talents where they are most needed.
You can partner with All Metals solely for machining, or we can act as a one-stop shop for your project and tackle your precision machining, fabrication, and finishing all in-house. By leveraging us for your entire project, we minimize handoffs to improve quality and speed up delivery.
Projects stay on schedule when they stay under one roof, thanks to close collaboration between departments. Sam, Isaac, and the rest of the team ensure clear communication at every step. When handoffs are between teams instead of between vendors, no detail goes overlooked.
Do you have a challenging, complex machining project? We’re glad to hear it, and we want to take it on at our precision machine shop! We work with some of the most demanding industries on tight-tolerance projects, and that’s what makes every day exciting. These customers accept nothing less than perfection, and we thrive on those expectations.
Whether you need precision machining or another service from our one-stop shop like custom metal fabrication, request a quote today and experience the excellence of our machining team!
